Policy elements (CTIA / Carrier requirements)
SMS notifications are sent by MailVue, a software platform operated by Bluebonnet Mail Center LLC. Messages identify MailVue first and name the independent mail center location where the customer's mail is waiting.
MailVue (mailvueapp.com) provides the software and messaging infrastructure used by independent mail center operators to manage physical and virtual mailbox services. This policy authorizes only transactional mail-arrival and pickup notifications, not marketing messages or free-form business messaging.
SMS messages are transactional only — no marketing, promotional, or advertising content is sent. You may receive the following notification types:
Message frequency varies based on your mail activity.
Typically 0–5 messages per week per active customer. Customers with high mail volume may receive more. Most customers receive fewer than 10 messages per month. There is no fixed cadence — messages are triggered only by mail-arrival and pickup events.
Message and data rates may apply.
Standard SMS and data rates charged by your mobile carrier apply to messages you send and receive. MailVue and its Stores do not charge separately for SMS notifications. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
Reply STOP to opt out
Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT at any time. You will be unsubscribed from the MailVue SMS program. You may also opt out through your account Settings page.
Reply HELP for support
Reply HELP to any SMS message to receive support contact information. You can also email cs@bluebonnetmail.com at any time.
After opting out, you may reply START, YES, or UNSTOP to resubscribe if prior consent is on file, or enable SMS again through your MailVue account Settings page.
SMS consent is obtained through the following channels — always as an explicit, affirmative opt-in action:
A. Operator-assisted signup (admin wizard)
When authorized mail center staff assist with onboarding, the customer is shown or read the standalone SMS disclosure and must affirmatively agree before the operator checks the consent attestation. Email-only remains available. The canonical disclosure text, consent timestamp, operator ID, method, and disclosure version are recorded.
B. Customer self-service (account activation or Settings)
Customers enter or confirm their mobile number while activating their MailVue mailbox or enabling SMS under Settings → Notifications. The complete disclosure is displayed with a separate optional checkbox that is unchecked by default. Customers can activate or continue using their mailbox without selecting it. The canonical disclosure text, timestamp, IP address, and disclosure version are recorded when they opt in.
We do not sell or share mobile information for promotional or marketing purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their promotional or marketing purposes. Information may be provided only to service providers that deliver or support this messaging program, or when required by law. For full details, see:
SMS opt-in is never bundled with Terms of Service or Privacy Policy acceptance.
In the MailVue platform, SMS consent is obtained through a dedicated, standalone checkbox or radio button that is separate from any acceptance of Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or general account creation consent. A customer may accept the Terms of Service without consenting to SMS notifications, and vice versa. This design is enforced at the UI level on all opt-in surfaces.
